April 30 & May 1 and Sept 3-4 2004 - North Carolina Reptile and Exotic Animal Show
On the first weekend in May and again during Labor Day weekend in
August, the "North Carolina Reptile and Exotic Animal Show" is held in
the Dorton Arena on the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. You'll find
vendors with supplies, equipment, food, etc., at wholesale prices. There
will be breeders and importers, an exotic animal petting zoo, short
seminars, educational booths, and lots of activities for children.
With over 10,000 attending this show, Triangle Iguana Rescue has an
excellent opportunity to educate new and old iguana owners in proper
husbandry. Volunteers and donations are needed to support this event.
